Madison Shook Downing is Executive Vice President at Vista Strategies. Prior to her work in government relations, Madison was one of the state’s most sought-after political consultants and prodigious fundraisers, raising $100 million for various clients. Madison built one of the most prestigious political client lists in North Carolina for over a decade, including state legislative leaders, legislative and party caucuses, federal and statewide office holders. She has complemented this deep rolodex by her work in economic development, including both high-end hospitality and a university research park.

In addition to her professional life, Madison serves on the North Carolina Partnership for Children, Inc. Board. She resides with her husband and twins in Greenville, North Carolina.

Stevie Savala is a Christian conservative, mother of four, military spouse, and a patriot dedicated to ensuring freedom for future generations of Americans. Stevie received a BA in Political Science from UNC-Wilmington where she started the Young Republicans in that county. Later, she obtained a Masters degree in Public Policy from Liberty University. After college, Stevie worked on multiple congressional campaigns before transitioning into healthcare. Since 2011, Stevie has worked in various leadership and consultative roles for health systems. In 2019, Stevie ran for congress in North Carolina and realized firsthand the challenges women face in running for public office. Understanding those barriers, Stevie joined Dolley Madison to encourage, train, and support women who bravely decide to endeavor into the world of campaigning and public service. In their free time, Stevie and her husband enjoy spending time with their children, traveling, and staying connected to public policy efforts that will impact the America their children will inherit.

Jeff Hauser is an experienced political operative and legislative staffer, and is currently the Research Assistant for Rep. Kristin Baker, MD. He got his start as a tracker for the opposition research group America Rising during the 2014 cycle, tracking numerous candidates in North Carolina, Kentucky, and Kansas. He was promoted to the DC office and returned to North Carolina in 2016 to manage a Congressional campaign. Following the conclusion, Jeff worked on the re-election campaign of Governor Pat McCrory as the Director of Media Relations, helping to expose an absentee ballot ring in the eastern part of the state. He then joined the staff of Rep. Bill Brawley of the North Carolina General Assembly, working on the Finance Committee. Jeff has also worked for Rep. Brenden Jones and the NCGOP as its Communications Director. 

Jeff lives in Johnston County with his wife Cassie and three children: Preston, Aiden, and Mackenzie. When not immersed in politics, Jeff is an avid golfer, tennis player, and diehard Duke basketball fan
